2017年6月24日,中国国际关系学会2017年理事会上海国际关系理论研 讨会三十周年纪念会开幕式在上海外国语大学召开,全国政协外事委员会副主任、中国国际关系学会副会长、察哈尔学会会长韩方明作为主要领导出席会议并讲话。察哈尔学会上海办公室主任、上海公共外交协会理事安翊青陪同出席。

2017年6月27日,中国非官方外交与国际关系智库察哈尔学会应第十届政治学与国际关系学术共同体年会主办机构邀请,在北京辽宁大厦举行了“公共外交与半岛问题”暨总第51期察哈尔圆桌会议,就公共外交和朝鲜半岛问题展开讨论,探讨半岛局势的变化,从公共外交角度寻找缓和半岛危机、破解中韩两国关系僵局的思路和方法。

2017年7月2日,由中国人权研究会和阿姆斯特丹自由大学共同主办、西南政法大学人权研究院与荷兰跨文化人权研究中心共同承办的“2017•中欧人权研讨会”在荷兰阿姆斯特丹举办。来自中欧人权领域的50多位专家学者围绕残疾人权利保障这一主题进行了研讨交流,察哈尔学会秘书长张国斌出席会议并发言。

2017年7月4日下午,《再造中国——领导型国家的文明担当》新书发布会暨察哈尔圆桌第52次会议在察哈尔学会举行,就“一带一路”与中国崛起话题进行深入探讨。会议由察哈尔学会副秘书长、《公共外交季刊》编辑部主任马文生主持。

2017年7月5日,韩方明会长在京会见了朝鲜驻华使馆主要负责人。7月6日,韩方明会长分别会见了美国驻华使馆公使衔参赞柯有为和韩国驻华使馆公使崔泳杉一行。

2017年7月7日,中国驻斯特拉斯堡前总领事、察哈尔学会秘书长张国斌应邀在中国外文局培训中心为2017几内亚新闻官员与记者研修班和2017非洲国家新闻官研修班进行法语授课,研修班由国新办和商务部主办。

2017年7月11日,察哈尔学会在北京办公室隆重举办首席研究员聘任仪式。全国政协外事委员会委员、中联部原副部长、中国前驻乌兹别克斯坦大使于洪君获聘察哈尔学会首席研究员。全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明向于洪君颁发了首席研究员聘书,并宣布设立首席研究员办公室。

2017年7月11日,察哈尔学会在京宣布成立“一带一路”研究中心。中心旨在就“一带一路”倡议的推广、落地和风险管控提供智力支持。

2017年7月11日上午,由察哈尔学会主办的“一带一路”倡议提出四周年研讨会暨《“一带一路”:联动发展的中国策》新书座谈会在察哈尔学会北京办公室适园精舍成功举行。

2017年7月14日,“新形势下社会智库创新发展”沙龙在上海社会科学院举行。来自察哈尔学会、福卡智库、零点智库、盘古智库、上海金融与法律研究院、张江平台经济研究院、上海东亚研究所等国内主要社会智库的代表参加了这次会议。

2017年7月25日,由察哈尔学会主办的察哈尔圆桌第54次会议暨“洞朗对峙与中印关系”研讨会在京举办。

2017年7月28日,全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明,全国政协外事委员会委员、中联部原副部长、察哈尔学会首席研究员于洪君在京共同会见了新加坡驻华大使罗家良一行,双方就中新两国关系以及建设“一带一路”等问题交换了意见。

2017年8月3日,联合国前副秘书长、著名外交官沙祖康大使来到察哈尔 学会北京办公室适园,正式受聘为察哈尔学会国际咨询委员会委员,并由全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明亲自颁发聘书。

2017年8月9日,首期“燕赵之光——海归博士基层创新创业行”暨河北海归创新创业大数据服务平台启动仪式在河北省沧州市举行,全国政协外事委员会副主任、欧美同学会(中国留学人员联谊会)副会长、察哈尔学会会长韩方明出席启动仪式并发表讲话。

2017年8月20日,察哈尔学会喜马拉雅区域研究中心正式成立并在西藏自治区拉萨市设立办公室。拉萨办公室是察哈尔学会继北京、上海、香港之后,在国内设立的第四个研究员办公室。喜马拉雅区域研究中心则是察哈尔学会继半岛和平研究中心、“一带一路”研究中心、能源外交研究中心等之后,学会成立的第七个研究中心。

2017年8月23日,全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明在京会见了美国国家情报委员会主席Amy McAuliffe一行,双方就中美关系、半岛和平、“一带一路”等共同关心的问题交换了意见。

2017年8月24日是中韩建交25周年纪念日,韩国驻华大使馆在京举行盛大招待会,学会会长韩方明以全国政协外委会副主任的身份应邀出席了招待会。

2017年8月26日上午,由察哈尔学会与韩国国会教育文化体育观光委员会、东亚和平研究院共同主办的“中韩建交25周年——《东北亚和平之路》出版纪念会”在京举行。全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明出席,韩国国会教育文化体育观光委员会委员长柳成葉专程前来参加活动并代表韩国国会为韩方明颁发了序号为第2017-433号的国会感谢牌,感谢韩方明会长对中韩两国的文化交流和发展做出的卓越贡献。

2017年8月28日,前任韩国国政企划咨询委员会委员长、现任国会议员金振杓到访察哈尔学会北京办公室所在地适园,受聘为察哈尔学会国际咨询委员委员。全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明主持了聘任仪式。

2017年9月12日,欧美同学会(中国留学人员联谊会)第六届年会暨海归创新创业峰会开幕式在郑州举行,全国政协外事委员会副主任、欧美同学会副会长、察哈尔学会会长韩方明在开幕式上代表欧美同学会与河南省政府共同签署欧美同学会-河南省政府战略合作协议。

2017年9月16日,新加坡南洋理工大学2017年毕业典礼在上海举行,全国政协外事委员会副主任、欧美同学会副会长、察哈尔学会会长韩方明应邀出席并发表题为“不忘初心,继续前行”的演讲,勉励南大中国毕业生为国家和社会的发展做出更多的贡献。

2017年9月25日,察哈尔学会首席研究员、国际咨询委员会委员,中共中央对外联络部原副部长于洪君与到访的美国大西洋理事会高级研究员、布兰特•斯考克罗夫特国际安全研究中心主任魏欧林在察哈尔学会秘书处会面。察哈尔学会高级研究员王冲,一带一路智库联盟秘书处、当代世界研究中心研究员高扬,魏氏国际副总裁朱迪•罗根陪同会见。

2017年9月26日,由察哈尔学会主办的“中美关系与亚太地区形势”研讨会在察哈尔学会秘书处举办。本次会议由高级研究员王冲主持。

2017年9月25日,全国政协外事委员会副主任、察哈尔学会会长韩方明在学会北京办公室适园会见毛里求斯驻华大使李淼光。这是继今年2月26日韩方明会长会见李淼光大使之后,双方的第二次会面。

2017年9月27日下午,察哈尔学会秘书长,中国驻法国斯特拉斯堡前总领事张国斌在北京奥体中心国粹馆参加由中国网主办的中国号“百舸计划” 发布会并发表演讲,从一位资深外交官的角度分享了“如何对世界讲好中国故事”。

The international communication of the outcomes of the sinicization of Marxism is not only a significant theoretical problem, but also a practical problem that needs constant exploration. President Xi Jinping in the report of the 19th CPC National Congress summarized comprehensively the work and historic change in the past five years, including China’s great achievements in diplomacy. The salient characteristics of these achievements are: “We have made all-round efforts in the pursuit of major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics, thus advancing China’s diplomatic agenda in a comprehensive, multilevel, multifaceted way and creating a favorable external environment for China’s development. ”“ We have seen a further rise in China’s international influence, ability to inspire, and power to shape; and China has made great new contributions to global peace and development.”

With continuously slow increase in world economy and diffusion of protectionism in the West, in 2016, China successfully hosted G20 Hangzhou Summit. At the beginning of 2017, President Xi Jinping gave a keynote speech   at the World Economic Forum. In May 2017, the Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit Forum took place in Beijing. These events are deep China’s marks on global economic governance. At the same time, US was questioned from all corners because of newly-elected President Trump’s conservatism policy. China and US’s shifts in role in global governance have entered the sight of public opinions. New York Times, a representative of US mainstream media, serves as an important platform where American foreign policy debates take place. In the time of these shifts in role in global governance, the way New York Times construct China’s national image, the way it looks at China’s international influence and its provision of reference for US policy on China, function as a window on the observation of new dynamics and direction of china-related public opinions in the West.

On the origin of CPC’s peace thoughts in its Japan-related work in the Yan’an era

2017 is the 45th anniversary of normalization of China-Japan relations and the 80th anniversary of Marco Polo Bridge Incident. Well-read people of both China and Japan are trying to learn from lessons of history, protecting the peace between China and Japan. Earlier back in Yan’an, while CPC actively fought against the Japanese army, it also actively promoted peace, attempting to divide Japanese army and accelerate its defeat in a peaceful manner. The peace thoughts were fully presented in Mao Zedong’s On Protracted War, and were successfully put into practice through school for Japanese workers and farmers who were educated as captives. The peace thoughts was at certain level influenced by international Communism, but also closely related to China’s traditional peace-loving thought since ancient times.
